This honest, revealing and at times, funny autobiographical work follows the actor’s life from the inner-city of Philadelphia to the suburbs of South Jersey and beyond. This heartfelt tale of an African American in search of his identity serves as a hilarious cautionary reminder of the difference between integration and assimilation. Storytelling, spoken word, and stand-up are combined in this modern-day take on the minstrel show.
