Dasariski combines the names and talents of Robert Dassie, Rich Talarico, and Craig Cackowski, and plays to sold-out houses every week at L.A.’s IO West Theater. Dasariski is known for their “slow play” style of longform improvisation, taking a single audience suggestion and creating a half-hour to hour-long piece of theater, focusing on creating believable characters and relationships, eschewing the cheap joke for the long-term payoff.
Bob, Rich, and Craig first met at Chicago’s IO in 1992, and over the years have played together in such ensembles as Mr. Blonde, Close Quarters, Baby Wants Candy, Trio, Cog, Quartet, and The Armando Show. All three are veterans of Chicago’s Second City, and their TV and film credits as writers and actors include Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Arrested Development, Monk, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, the feature film High Fidelity and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
