Developed from one of Christina Howard’s Why Factor writing workshops, PROPORTION DISTORTION broaches the topics of female body image and sexuality, delving into the ongoing struggle between self-acceptance and self-hatred. The story centers around a group of women attending a pole-dancing class, attempting to get in touch with their sexuality. Through the stories of the individual women, we learn their past experiences range from abuse, weight issues, eating disorders, sexual confusion, and dysfunctional relationships.
